Beauty: How long you should keep your make up

My make-up turned against me!  A few days ago I had a horrible experience where I got a rash on my face and neck due to using old make-up. I know many of us don’t keep track of how old our make-up is. These are the time periods for your different products:

Mascara 3 months

Eye pencils 2 years

Eye shadows 2 years

Lip sticks 2 years

Blushers and powders 2 years

Foundations and concealers 18 months

Tips: Also remember to wash your make-up brushes and sponges this will also have an impact on how long your make-up last. Wash your brushes in hot soapy water.

Don’t pump your mascara! By pumping it you allowing air to get into the tube and therefore your mascara will dry up quicker.
